Inside Sales Representative | Crawford & Company | Madison, WI

Summary of Role:
This position will provide telemarketing services and teleservicing
support to a designated group of customers and prospects. Each
individual will coordinate and document client needs assessment in order
to prioritize and manage customer opportunities and Crawford
On-Line sales initiatives. Participate in weekly business strategy
calls with Inside Sales Supervisor along with Regional and Branch
Management team to identify and conduct research on potential prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Contact potential prospects and articulate Crawford
On-Line programs and product offerings.
- Conduct research on potential prospects as necessary and work with
Inside Sales Supervisor and/or Branch Management to formulate sales
strategy.
- Provide administrative support to the Account Executive and Branch
Management teams to resolve client problems and servicing issues.
- Respond to solicitations for information with regard to programs and
services from prospects.
- Make follow up of initial sales contacts through various
communications channels such as phone conversations and e-mail
correspondence.
- Facilitate meetings between prospects and Branch Management using both
phone conference and/or Webex applications.
- Work with Inside Sales Supervisor to build and adjust sales scripts to
better target different areas of the market and to provide timely and
effective customer support.
- Participate in weekly business strategy calls with both Inside Sales
leadership team and Branch Management.
- Be both team and goal oriented with a hunger for success.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
- Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as
requested.
Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the sales and marketing process.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to persuade and influence customers.
Good time management skills and ability to work well independently.
Good computer skills and strong proficiency with Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes.
Strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of two years sales experience experience.
Previous B2B inside sales experience a plus.
Prior learning systems sales experience preferred.
Decision Making/Interaction:
Regular interaction with new and potential clients, account executives
and regional management team. A significant amount of the contacts will
involve exchange of information and persuasion.
